Why this site exists

Many of us grew up hearing the names of the Imams (a), the story of Karbala and the event of Ghadir, but we rarely test what we actually remember. A quiz turns that knowledge into something you can practise, share with friends and improve over time.

The quiz has four levels. Easy covers the names, places and events every follower should know. Medium and Hard go into the titles of the Imams, their shrines, early Islamic history and the Occultation of Imam al-Mahdi (aj). Ultra Hard is for people who know the classical books and scholars well.

Every question comes with a short explanation, so you learn something even when you get it wrong. Finish all three rounds of a level and you receive a certificate with your name on it.

Who made it

Ahlulbayt Quiz Arena was created by Syed Numan Ali. The aim is simple: to make learning about the Ahlulbayt (a) engaging for young people and anyone who wants to test and grow their knowledge.

Where the questions come from

The questions are based on widely known facts from Shia history and the classical sources, such as Nahj al-Balagha, al-Kafi, al-Irshad of Shaykh al-Mufid and the well-known accounts of Karbala. Where historians give slightly different dates, the quiz uses the date most commonly given.
